Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day, at least to my American readers. Today is a day to remember the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for our freedoms. It’s a good day to hoist a flag or visit a site of significance in American history. Although it is also a good day to kick back with an improving book, I will spend this afternoon doing the required American Memorial Day activity: cooking and consuming grilled meat products with a side of mayonnaise-slathered potatoes and elbow macaroni. Enjoy your day off!
