by Oliver Goldsmith
Popular eighteenth-century novel The Vicar of Wakefield tells the story of a doctor’s family that suddenly goes from riches to rags. Through many misadventures, the characters find time to poke fun at the real-world institutions of the day, including the writings of contemporary authors.
For the project, I will read an electronic copy of The Vicar of Wakefield. At my standard font size, the book is 162 pages in length.
