by William Gibson
Neuromancer is a work of cyberpunk fiction, a branch of science fiction that combines a technically advanced society with a breakdown in the social order. In this book, Gibson examines the relationship between humanity and technology, and the extent to which the two can become mingled safely. The word “cyberspace” original comes from this novel.
As is to be expected for a book of this genre and significance, it is available for electronic viewing. I downloaded a copy of the 1984 book, a full 232 e-pages in length.
